West Point Sees Poor Fall Fishing Season Amid Storms

Nine flood lights in three series illuminate City hall cupola housing the Paul Revere bell at night. The beams are visible from Witch Spring hill and Woolwich shore and other high spots. Fire damages Arrowsic wood house. heater near sill fails
Bath fire department responded to a Tuesday night alarm for a small Story and a Half house on the old road in Arrowsic. The blaze started at a living room fireplace built on a main sill and burned through six by six timber, causing the fireplace to fall through the floor. No other damage reported. occupant Vincent MacMahan is a WWII veteran who lost sight in one eye. The fireplace is now unusable as the home’s main heat source.
