Eddie Bush of Greenwich Conn former Maine open champion and Nor way Country Club ace leaves Norway to join Dick Metz at Oak Park Country Club in Chicago as playing professional and instructor. He will start April 1 1941 after signing contracts four weeks ago during a Chicago visit. Bush also held posts at Key West and Greenwich's Giant Valley Club while earning Maine titles this season.

LeBel Arrested After Burnham Auto Break In
Clarence J. LeBel, 22, of 58 Russell Street, is arrested after the Burnham Auto Supply Co. at 94 Front Street is broken into on Friday night. He pleads guilty in municipal court to breaking and entering and intoxication, with bound over to the Sagadahoc Superior Court in sureties of $500. Blood found at the scene and a brick used to break windows are noted. Officers spotted LeBel in the alley and take him into custody.

Engineer Injured at Hardings Plant Construction
Philip Gregory, 25, of Wellesley Mass., an engineer with Tuttle Construction, had his right leg amputated after a raincoat was caught on a backing locomotive at the Bath Iron Works Fabrication Plant in Hardings East Brunswick. The accident occurred Friday afternoon during the plant’s erection for Bath Iron Works Corp. Gregory, a University of Maine civil engineer graduate, had worked on the project since early summer.

Bath Automobiles Collide. No Injuries Reported
Two Bath cars driven by E Arthur Kronstrand and Merritt Scott Jr collided on the Brunswick Lewiston road near Topsham village. Both drivers escaped injuries, Kronstrand’s car damaged on the left side and Scott’s on the forward left. A third Bath car was nearby. A deputy sheriff reported no charges.
