Squaw club hosts and plans gatherings. local notes
WINNEGANCE Squaw club met Thursday evening with Mrs. Robert P. Manson as hostess and will meet next Thursday evening with Mrs. Walter Morse. Mrs. Charles T. Small and Mrs. Win field W. Morse left on Friday to pass the weekend at their former home in Dresden. Unless the city street department expects to have more or less trouble with ice conditions this Winter at the top of Bridge hill attention should be given the matter before freezing weather comes. The road is now constantly overflowed in front of the Sanford store and promises to give the same trouble this Winter that it did last year unless it is given attention. Winfield Groves is clearing a large piece of land in preparation for a garden spot in the Spring. Merton Dearing and family from Bath are occupying a portion of the Walter Morse house.
