Elwell S. Crosby sold the Alvord property on Washington Street south of the Phoenix to Wilbur C. Oliver. The deal includes a three story brick house and two rear houses, previously owned by Mrs Jotia w Litchfield of Akron Ohio. Oliver plans extensive improvements turning the brick block into three modern flats with heating, near Bath Iron Works. The rear houses will be painted and upgraded.
