Bathman Travels Coast to Coast by Bus and Plane
Reporter David Logan Wilson details a cross country journey starting at Salt Flat the bed of an ancient salt lake. The trip climbs to El Capitan and visits Caverns National Park where a ranger explains cavern formation. The ride continues past oil fields cotton country and a wartime air base at Pyote before approaching Springs and its beard-strewn youths as open country yields to industry and ranch land.
