Bath postal clerks to choose delegates
Bath branch of the National Association of Petroleum Clerks will within a few days elect delegates to the 7th annual convention in Rockland May 20. William Cummings is president and Milton H. Douglas secretary. The convention will be styled the Victory Convention to honor the passage of the Mesne Page Bill which gave postal workers a substantial raise in pay, and will end with a Victory banquet. A surprise party was given Celestine Thibeault on her birthday Monday night with games, music by Nettie Jeddrey and Philip Lathhee. Refreshments were served by Mrs. O Thibeault and Mrs FE Arsenault. Attending were Lena and Annie Gander, Phyllis Purrlen, Pansy Ward, Tellian and Nettie Jeddrey, Antoinette Gallant, Dorothy and Mary Arsenault, Stanley Richards, Henry Gardet, Ralph Burden, Mr. and Mrs. Maines, Wilfred Thibeault, Kenneth Orr, Bath, Philippe Labhee, Urbaine Caren, Joseph Gawirean, Philip Label, Alexie St. Pierre, Lee Lebel, Bonchard, Lrunswick.
