Bathman Receives Word of Son's Death
C Edward White of 40 Lemont street learns his son William White aged 32 died Saturday night in Boston when he leaped in front of a tunnel train at Union street station. William, born in Presque Isle, married Hazel Porter of that town and had worked in a Pittsfield mill after moving from farming. He left three children and two sisters, and his wife had heart trouble. He was visiting Mrs. White who had surgery at Deaconess hospital. The elder White went to Boston to identify his son’s body and arrange funeral plans.

Lawrence V. Kingsbury of Bath pled guilty to illegal possession of intoxicating liquor before Associate Justice Morrill in the Mapeents supreme court.
