Thomas W Skelton of Bowdoin Dies at 62
Thomas W. Skelton, 62, died Wednesday at Central Maine General Hospital Lewiston from illness after a broken leg from an April 5 team accident in Brunswick. A prominent farmer and public figure, he served in the legislature in 1913 and eight years on the Sagadahoc county board of selectmen. He was born December 3, 1845.

A large delegation from Lincoln lodge of Odd Fellows and Queen Esther Rebekah lodge attended anniversary exercises at Odd Fellows hall Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4. Gaudreau's orchestra presented a musical program. Rev. Samuel A. Evans gave the invocation and address and offered the benediction. Winter Street Church Honors Rupert Cowles With Watch Chain
The Winter Street Church men's club held a farewell for Rupert Cowles who departed for New York. President Byron Smith presented Cowles with a gold watch chain as a token of esteem.
