Village to get high tension line along creek shore

The plan calls for a high tension line to follow the creek shore rather than pass through the village streets, connecting with the main highway near Fred Oliver's home. Edgar W. Oliver will repair his High Street house near Bridge Street, with a new foundation and improvements. The city street department has improved lower High Street toward the West Bath line, hauling gravel from Pitch Pine hill pits to reduce spring mud. John G. Morse & Sons' mill crew unloaded multiple carloads of lumber and building materials at the Bath railroad station this week. A Friday night meeting with Mrs. George M. Eaton was one of spring’s most enjoyable gatherings, with Dro more grange members attending a box social at the hall Tuesday night.
