A Lambert Park duplex fire Tuesday killed three children of the McLeod family and left neighbors shocked. Darrell McLeod, 1 1/2, died at Memorial Hospital after rescue attempts failed. Neil McLeod, 5, died earlier, and Orrell McLeod, 3, perished as the blazing home was gutted. Neighbors rushed to aid, with Fairbrother pulling Darrell from a window and delivering him to medical staff. the cause is undetermined but linked to a stove.
