City Council approves Torrey Roller Bushing permit
City Council held a special meeting last Friday granting the Torrey Roller Bushing Co. permission to use part of Commercial Street for building with standard restrictions. Reports on reduction of city debt and a debt statement were read and filed. Mayor Dunton was absent. Alderman Spachelder chaired Pro tem. The finance reports show bonds and notes outstanding and city valuations. Funeral services were held for George Penney at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
