Pvt Clayton D Crooker joining the 11th Airborne Division at Fort Campbell Kentucky with Battery B 457th Airborne Field Artillery Battalion and planned Basic Airborne training at Fort Benning.

Mrs Iva Tee Cousins presented country scenery and Washington refreshments were served by Hazel Warner with helpers Phyllis and Frances Warner.

Mr and Mrs Floyd Goding of Livermore Falls were in an auto crash on a slippery East Livermore road near Ike's Corner at 12 30 PM. The car overturned into a ditch as they were en route to the Goding home. Both suffered bruises and Mrs Goding a back injury while Mr Goding had a chest injury. They were taken to the Goding residence for treatment by Dr Charles Williams. Police Chief Cecil Ryder investigated the mishap and reported vehicle damage.
West Bath Grange minstrels present a show Monday night March 2 at the Bath Iron Works Recreation Hall on Washington Street. The event is sponsored by the BIW Recreational Association with square and mixed dancing after. Calvin Taylor hosts with a strong end men team and Alice Smith plays guitar among other solo numbers.
