The Bath school department reports pupils boosted their bonds and stamps purchases to over 110000 in two weeks post term. The raised funds will be allocated to buy a C-47 Douglass Ambulance plane with a plaque crediting Bath schools placed in the cockpit. The initial 75000 goal for a Mustang pursuit plane was exceeded, prompting a new target of 110000 and heartfelt student praise.

Man Freed by Sagadoe Court in Brother Manslaughter Trial
Edward McIver 45 of Bow given acquittal by a Sagada hoc County Superior Court jury on manslaughter charges in the death of his brother William McIver 52 of Bowdoinham after a one day trial.
