Farmers unite to form local Co-operative Association
From where I sit. My Joe' Marsh Dress Clothes. It was Bill Webster's idea a local Co-operative Association. The farmers just their produce to a converted ice plant, put it on a belt, and it comes out neatly wrapped in cellophane. Naturally, it looks a whole lot better and more appetizing in the stores. And the farmers share in the expense and management of the Association, which is paying off in better business.

At the Woolwich Grange meeting, Asbury Bailey a 50 year member and former master received the Golden Sheaf from State Deputy G Cleland Marriner. 25 year certificates went to several members including Mrs Elsie Blagdon and Mrs Daisy Elwell. The program included songs readings discussions and a tree quiz with topics on community needs and rural highways.
