Maine ready for tourist influx and camp visitors
As Maine anticipates thousands of summer visitors and campers, residents are urged to greet guests warmly, keep communities tidy, and assist motorists with clear directions and safe detours around ongoing highway work. Officials note highway projects linking Bath to Phippsburg and West Bath will improve access to resorts, while parking on Front Street draws criticism for congestion and minor accidents. Meanwhile, a friendly reminder about birds and daily feeding is offered.
