Edward Henry Turner 1883 06 17 born in Bath man of cheerful disposition dies suddenly at 6 am after a brief grip induced heart trouble. Survived by wife Lula Hungerrord Turner daughter Carolyn three sisters and one brother. Funeral from 981 High Street home Thursday at 10.00 AM with Bath Aerie F C O E membership noted.
Alden W. Richardson aged 188 years and 4 months died Wednesday at his Lemont Street home. A Freeport native, he lived all his life in the city and retired 15 years ago. Survived by wife Mary Clapp Richardson two daughters Mrs. George Shaw and Mrs. J Albert Redlon a son Harry O Richardson a brother Richard R Richardson and four grandchildren. Funeral held Friday at 2 p.m. from the residence.
Mrs Ann E Campbell widow of Daniel Campbell dies after several years illness in the city. A native of Wiscasset she was educated in New York newspaper work and a Shakespeare scholar. Survived by brother Gilman S Briggs and nephew Henry Briggs of Lynn Mass. Funeral held Monday at 3 pm at Universalist Church. Mrs E W Trowbridge gifts YMCA billiard table. Dean's Ointment advertised for skin troubles at 50c a box.
Weeks Street Grammar School pupils staged a patriotic program at Morse High School Assembly Hall. Attendance boosted the school treasury by thirty dollars as the audience applauded and encores followed. Miss Mary Conley chaired the committee with teachers Miss Grace Lightbody Miss Gladys McGillicuddy and Miss Elnora Richards assisting.

Miss Soule, a Bath resident born and bred, was found hanging by a noose from her bedpost in her home. Neighbors Grinnell and Hodgdon notified Medical Examiner Harry F. Morin, M D, who with others entered the chamber and saw the body before it was prepared for burial by Fred S. Curtis. Relatives were informed and arrived from Brunswick.
Mrs. W C Brown of Cleveland Ohio recounts four weeks in hospital with fainting spells and pains. After starting Lydia E Pinkham's Vegetable Compound she reports significant improvement and urges others to try it before returning home.
Years of poor health and solitary living led Miss Soule to a moment of hysteria or melancholia, resulting in her death by suicide. Her remaining years were spent tending her home and grounds with little social interaction.
Saturday night in Willow St a car left in the yard was pried into by would be thieves using a rope to pull it into the street. They tried to start the borrowed vehicle but misused the switch and fled leaving the engine flooded and the car down the road. S. E. Brown finishes lumber work in Medomak and heads to West Bath for new job.
