Captain F H Peterson, visiting from Portland, will command the new four masted schooner C C Mengel Jr to be launched August 15 at 3 PM from Percy and Small's yard. Built for C C Mengel & Bros Co of Louisville Ky, its measures are 184.2 by 38.2 by 14.9 feet with a gross tonnage of 544. Percy and Small also build a duplicate of the Mengel half framed.
