Ingales Made Money Selling Cabbages By Bushel
Eugene Ingalls of North Bath says he profited by disposing of a car load of cabbages by the bushel at 39 cents. He bought them from a seller who faced a full market and a dull post Christmas trade. The high supply kept the market slow, but Ingalls marketed them for novelty and advertising, then bought another car of cabbages to sell out of town.
