Henry C. Wright was unanimously re elected president L Eugene The beau vice president and Frederick Low treasurer by Bath Hospital corporators at the annual meeting held Saturday afternoon in Davenport Memorial City Hall. Miss Lillian Miller resigned as secretary and auditor and Henry W. Owen was elected to fill the vacancy. Trustees elected for three years include Fred C. Cox Harry W. Cros man Arthur J. Dunton Samuel R. Percy Mrs J A Redlon Harry B. Sawyer Mrs Harold M Sewall Mrs Evan W Welch and Mrs Charles H Cahill. Pres Wright paid tribute to the deaths of former president William D Sewall and D Seth Mullin and noted Dr Horace Fox resignation. He outlined improvements including glassing in the piazza radio installation library expansion donations from Dr Fox new roofing new rubber flooring and a new walk. Repairs include exterior woodwork painting new nurses home furnace new ice machine sidewalk renewal and piazza roof caulking and painting. City Treasurer Ralph K. Hall faces a promising period for tax collections in 1930 as $371,000 of $398,800 committed has been received. Old Alameda Rink Remembered For Polo And Banquets
Bath Forty Years Ago recalls the Alameda skating rink once a Northern New England showplace. It hosted roller polo, banquets, balls, fairs, and dances with Bath Light Infantry and Portland Light Infantry in a 19th century era. The rink stood from Vine to Center and was demolished in 1913 for a Bathopara house.
