YMCA considers fund drive for new swimming pool

Navy Recruiting Officer Injured in Woolwich Crash
William J. Mullen a Navy recruiting officer stationed at Portland was hurt when his beach wagon collided head on with a car driven by Perley Colby of Wiscasset on Clark's hill in Woolwich. Colby suffered a broken hand and Mullen remained hospitalized under observation with chest pains.
