Century Old Nickel Found In Bath Hoarding Incident
A high school girl at Bath Central church Sunday school spotted a rare 1822 nickel among her five cent coins. Teacher Mrs. David L. Wilson verified the piece, given as change from a local store the preceding night. The coin, 111 years old, was kept as a pocket piece due to its rarity.

Richmond Man Peacock Dies After Living in California
Sydney William Peacock of Richmond died last Tuesday night at his sister Mrs Adisa Dill's Brunswick road home. Born September 10 1865 he lived in Maine for two years after returning from California. He leaves a son Forest Peacock of Gardiner a daughter Leona Pappas of San Francisco a sister and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday.
