Bath fire engine records reveal early 1800s doings

The Independent unearthed Bath fire company minutes from May 7 1804 naming Tilston Cushing Thomas Kimball William Allen and others as engine proprietors. Rules taxed fines for absences and late roll calls, ordered monthly meetings, described alarm duties, and noted community funds aiding the poor.
