The torpedo boat destroyer Buchanan was launched at Bath Iron Works at 1:30 PM with champagne by Mrs. Charles P. Wetherbee and a flower girl. Lieut. Com. William A. New Bath Gas Plant In Operation After Delays
Bath and Brunswick Light and Power Co. has completed a new gas plant after extensive labor, embargo, weather, and delay challenges. The plant is expected to supply Bath with adequate gas for current and future needs, capable of producing in a day twice the city’s current consumption.

Aryan Ship Wreck Ends Last Wooden Vessel in America
