Bowdoin Track Coach Morrill Star of Maine Shoots and Weights
Bowdoin track coach Burton C Morrill entered the college as a student in 1910 and took charge of the team. He led Bowdoin to Maine Intercollegiate victory and a New England runner up while guiding green material to strength. An all around athlete, his best work was in weights with the shot put where he held the Maine record.
