Hotel Eagle Brunswicks Modern Popular Hostelry
Fred J. Harrigan built the Eagle on Middle Street near the Maine Central to serve business travelers. The three story brick hotel offers electric lights steam heat private telephones and sixteen baths with elaborate dining rooms and kitchen facilities. Since opening June 15 1881 the Eagle has expanded with multiple additions and plans more improvements including sample rooms and upgraded lavatories.
