Brunswick woodsman severely injured in Route 1 crash
John Potvin a 49 year old Brunswick woodsman was seriously injured in a two car collision on Route 1 at New Meadows. Potvin suffered concussion a fractured jaw and multiple facial lacerations. Potvin's companions Delbert Conlex 33 of Lewiston and Philip Labbe 36 of Brunswick sustained facial abrasions. Irvin J. Chapman 57 of Bath driver of the jeep had minor injuries. Chapman was discharged after treatment along with Conlex and Labbe. The crash occurred when Potvin's car struck an icy spot and skidded into the jeep.
