George Edward Clancy 68 a life long Dresden resident died at his home Friday from complications. He worked 17 years in the engineering department of steamships Kennebec division Eastern Steamship Lines between Kennebec river ports and Boston. He was born in Dresden to Edward Franklin and Louisa Allen Clancy. He married Grace Saunders of Rockland in 1891 and Lille Tarbox of Westport as his second wife. Survived by sons Edward of Bath William and Archie Clancy of Dresden and two daughters Augusta and Helen Clancy of Dresden. Funeral Sunday at 4 30 p m at the South Dresden church with burial in the family lot.
Marie Elizabeth Clark 11 died at City hospital after a brief illness and appendectomy. Born April 6, 1917 in Lath, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Clark of 4 Marshall Avenue. She attended Weeks Street Grammar School, was in the seventh grade, attended Corliss Steed Sunday School, and active in the mission department. Survived by parents two sisters Lillian and Ruth and brother John Jr.
Minnie Mayberry 99 died at the home where she was born after a long life in Bath with years in Brunswick and oil. She leaves two brothers Dora Austin of West Bath and Ress Austin of Auburn and two sons Roy M Getchel of Bath and Charles Mayberry of Philadelphia. She was a member of the auxiliary of the cemetery and the L. funeral was Saturday.
Gerald Ardeen Pratt a nearly three year old twin of Clinion F. and Bertha Crosman Pratt died after burns from a tub accident at the family home 1301 Washington Street. The child is survived by parents a sister Camille L and another sister Ceraldine A Pratt. Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:50 at the parents home.
The funeral of Mrs Lillian A Toman aged 27 who died Feb 13 in Portland was held Friday at St Marys church with Rev Fr Bouchard officiating. Bearers were Paul McCole Paul Gurney Arint Gaudet and Clayica Foruer. Burial followed at Calvary cemetery. Mrs Toman survived by husband Lev S Totman a daughter May two, her mother Mrs Margaret Richards of Bath and sisters Mrs aura Harman Mrs Glidys Rice and brothers Alfred Henry Souley Richards.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the home for Dr Mason wi Lemont. Rev David L Wilson of Cen-21 Congregational Church conducted the service. Burial followed at Oak Grove with American Legion Post A.L. presence.
Funeral services for Mrs Mayberry were held on Sunday with a memorial ball at L. Rev. Willian Conen Mnaulon. Representatives from the Salvation PENT were present. Burial followed at Oak edge with Captain Albert J. Warren and Commander John C. Crardincer Allan Spear among the attendees.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at his home in Winnevance district One West, attended by relatives and friends. Rev David L Wil on of Church led the service with bearers Revwenn HH Pumpion Frank Allestin Charlies E Prebie and Joseph N Day, members of the Winnegunce Community club of which Mr McCutcheon was the oldest member. Burial followed at Oak Grove.

Lewis E King Jr aged 48 died Tuesday at his home 608 Middle Street Bath after a brief illness. He was born in Bath son of Alfred and Emma King and lived here his life. A Spanish War veteran he worked at Bullman’s store and Bath Box Co. He belonged to Ernest Edger Kate on Camp U S W V and the Bath Veteran Firemans association. Survived by wife Lillian M King mother Emma M King a son Alfred L King of Portsmouth NH four brothers John Frank Herbert Howard all of Bath four sisters Mrs Edward McKi er ward Clancy Mrs Ruth Bracca of Bath and Mrs Harry Barker of Everett Mass and three grandchildren Lewis E Louise L and Alfred G of Portsmouth NH.
Antonzo R Donnell a prominent farmer on Ridge road died Saturday night of pneumonia after an illness of four weeks. He had faced heart failure for years and died on his birthday. Survived by sons Dean and Raymond and daughter-in-law Olive, his life centered on farming and local work in Bath.
Mrs Carrie Hedgeman Harnden 73 native of Woolwich died February 6 in California after residing there. She was the widow of Frank Hedgeman of Bath and the funeral was held Monday September 1. Prev George Morrison noted in obituary.
Mrs Myrtle Getchell 46, wife of Levi Getchell, died after a period of illness at a city home. Born in Union, she was a daughter of Pred Ate Mesa Eas, with surviving relatives noted in the brief notice.
Mrs. Emma Longfellow Smith widow of Eugene O. Smith formerly of Bath died in Boston Saturday after a fall left her bedbound for five years. Born in Woolwich her father once owned the Bath Woolswich ferry. Cremation was at Mount Auburn and her ashes will return to Bath for burial in the Longfellow lot at Oak Grove. She leaves a daughter Mrs. Hor tense Blanchard of Boston and a sister Mrs. Luther Daniels of Roxbury.
The funeral for Alonzo R. Donnell was Tuesday at 2 PM at his brother Robert W. Donnell’s home 67 Court Street. Rev. Howard Davis Spoerl of the Universalist Church officiated. Bearers were David Welch Harry W. Donnell Scott J. Donnell and Robert W. Donnell. The body was entombed.
