Grace Church reelects officers at annual meeting
Grace Episcopal church held its supper and annual meeting in the parish house. Officers were unanimously reelected by ballot including senior warden Frederick E. Drake and treasurer Harry L. Day. The annual report cited rebuilding costs after a recent fire and committees were renewed. The gathering also noted the State Chamber of Commerce plan to send 120 Maine 4 H club members to the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Massachusetts, with travel funded by contributions.

Maine approves continuous resident hunting and fishing licenses
Officials state that holders of resident fishing licenses may fish in season without annual renewal. The 1929 act sets 65 cents for the resident hunting and 65 cents for the fishing license with $1.15 for a combined permit. Licenses remain valid until the law is changed, regardless of issue date, per Commissioner George J. Stobie after AG interpretation.

The Farm Bureau elected Fmily Rideout as chairman Edith Rowe as secretary and treasurer Ruth Dodge led the food project Hazel Denham and Mil dren Given were named clothing and home manager leaders Charles Berry played a piano solo. An original farce Getting New Members and a pantomime The Lamp Went Out entertained attendees. The event was managed by Miss Emily Rideout with Charles Eastman county agent and Hortense Welch home demonstration agent in attendance and addressing the group.

North Center association absorbs South Street district changes
The North Center association voted to absorb the South Street primary association within its district after the Dike school withdrawal. The district now includes central grammar north grammar Center Street primary and North Street primary schools. The group received 300 from the Davenport estate milk fund and donations from Mrs. Daniel T Dougherty and Mrs. T W Pease. A card party at the YMCA next Tuesday at two will have 60 tables. Mrs. R P McFadden reported for the Victrola fund. 30 members attended.
