Philip R. Goodrich, 83, longtime Bath baker, died Saturday in Brunswick. Born in England on December 6, 1889, he served in the 6th New York Engineers at Gettysburg and later worked as a baker across several states. He retired from baking and worked for Baxter Paper Box Co. in Brunswick, served seven years as sealer of weights and measures, and held several Masonic and veterans titles. He leaves his wife Lillian.
