Charles Huff a 32 year old Phippsburg resident was arraigned in Bath municipal court on illegal possession of about 1000 gallons of St Pierre Et Miquelon alcohol seized from his barn. Judge Keegan fined Huff 500 dollars and four months in Kennebec jail with six months extra in default of a Ford truck seized with 500 gallons aboard. A government tax of over 5000 dollars will be collected before conversion to commercial channels. Huff will appear in Portland before the U S Commission on two other complaints.
