Bath Adopts New Plan for Overseers of the Poor

The Bath City Council repealed Chapter 27 and adopted a new three year term for the Board of Overseers of the Poor. Three members will serve with one vacancy per year, elected by the council, without pay, and they will appoint a superintendent earning up to 1200 dollars annually.
