Nurses Enjoy Christmas Event at Bath City Hospital
A Christmas tree illuminated the Nurses' home in Bath City on Friday night as nurses exchanged gifts. Trustees presented pupil nurses with hose and powder while graduate nurses received hose and boudoir brushes. Generous confections came from Pres. Henry C. Wright Mrs. William D. Sewall N. Gratz Jackson who also gave each a memorandum book. Gifts were distributed by Superintendent Mrs. Helen V. Downing her assistant Mrs. Phyllis Gilpatrick and by Miss ODonnell. Downing also received several gifts. Trees stood in the men s women s and maternity wards and a Christmas dinner followed Sunday noon.
