H A Oliver of Ferry Street Market bought a May pallet from Robert Greenleaf of Westport and discovered three perfectly formed eggs shell and all along with a fine pullet. He declared the trio of eggs the freakest he had ever seen after pulling the eggs from the hen. The eggs and pullet were all edible and notable for their unusual quantity.
The Bureau of Public Roads details a nationwide Federal-aid highway system planned to span most counties. It sets 18 foot minimums, limits to 7 percent state mileage with 3-7 percent primary, totaling about 187000 miles, with 10000 miles completed to date. The program spans 15 to 20 years with independent state roads joining the system. Williamet Kendall of Bowdeinham visited Bath on Tuesday.
Morse football team hosts a Christmas night dance at the Armory to raise funds for sweaters. They have $65 so far from dances and prom gifts and aim to reach $0 more by the next event. The City of Bath Maine warns non resident real estate owners that taxes for 1922 remain unpaid and may be sold at public auction at City Hall on the first Monday of February 1623 at 9 a m. Real estate sufficient to cover the due amount, including interest and charges, will be sold. Ralph K Mall is the collector.
