Morin Transferred to Devens Disbursing Station
MSgt. Roy E. Morin, in charge of Bath Recruiting since March 1947, is transferred to the 104th Finance Disbursing Section at Fort Devens Mass to begin a three year recruiting rotation. Morin began Army service Sept 4 1940, served in Europe, and after re enlistment November 1945 joined Rumford and Bath recruiting duties. He praises Bath as a pleasant tour and thanks locals for support.

Bath youth suffers badly cut hand
Herbert Condon 17 of 1052 Court street was taken to Memorial hospital Monday morning with a badly cut hand. He told police the injury happened at home when his mother bumped him during a walk past the bath and he fell into a stove, causing his hand to go through a window. Chief Moriarty saw him nearby, provided first aid, and transported him to the hospital.
