Miss Emma Freeda Young and Roscoe J Leighton were married at eight o'clock Saturday in their new Dum mer Street home with only close relatives present. Rev Francis W O'Brien of the People's Baptist Church officiated, and guests later enjoyed refreshments as Miss Young wore white satin with fringe and a white picture hat. The best man was Lester Pratt. attendants included Miss May Dow. The couple, both of the city, will reside on Dum mer Street.

Lecture series highlights Shakespeare at Morse High
Professor Roland Gray of the University of Maine opened a Shakespeare lecture series at Morse High School.
