Former Maine Central gateman last lived in Bath. Miles M Merry master builder had large funeral attendance with shipyard colleagues present. Rev Edwin Dodge Hardin officiated and bearers included Samuel R Perey J Clifford Spinney and Charles F H Oliver. Burial was in Oak Grove. Apple price changes noted from 10 cents to 60 cents in Bath and 1 dollar in Boston. Two car loads of Christmas trees moved to Boston from down East. Mayoralty candidates being selected in corner groceries for the March election.
