Notable State Event Delights Crowds With Exhibits And Stunts
Among the best ever seen in the state the free for all time was 1.10 percent. The new exhibition hall at the entrance is a great improvement over the old one with a large midway. Aviation stunts were wonderful and performed with promptness and care. Alfred W. Rafnell, an old Bath boy, was the cornet soloist with the Lewiston Brigade band and accompanied the singers. Three Indian families from Old Town have been in Carlton's Grove in Woolwich since August gathering sweet grass for baskets, all sold as fast as made. They leave for home soon. The steel cargo carrier Aryan will be launched next month, date undetermined. The Texas Steamship Co expects a harbor boat from the yard to be launched before Aryan.
