Firemen's Fourth Parade Captivates Kennebec Bath and More

Mariner Thomas Orne Pierce Dies in Bath After Stroke
Thomas Orne Pierce, 79, longtime Bath resident and former ship crewman, died at home from complications after a paralytic stroke. A native of West Portsmouth, he lived in Bath 25 years after leaving sea work, and was a member of People's Baptist church. Survived by his wife, two sons Flavel and Barton Pierce, and daughter Mrs Isaac C. Coombs, all of Bath. Weekend guests of Mr and Mrs Herve Hotte noted in local tribute.
