River of Health Milk Prophecy and Public Appetite
A satirical piece extols the so called River of Health made from 56 billion quarts of milk produced by 22,406,000 cows. It claims it could fill the Suez Canal and float fleets, yet actually fed the nation, with half turned into dairy products and half drunk as milk. It notes the milk cost workers seven minutes per quart and endorses salt water use of the canal while joking about Near East politicking.
