Parker Head Ladies Aid fair a village success at Independent Hall

Wednesday night Parker Head hosted the annual fair by the Ladies Aid Society at Independent Hall. A large crowd attended from nearby villages and beyond, netting about 90 dollars after expenses. The event featured decorated booths, a flag drill by about 40 children, and a six year old performer Thelma Farnham receiving hearty applause. A later barn dance by Misses Allen of Brookline drew many in sunbonnets and overalls, promising a repeat before season’s end.
