Boy Severely Injured Falling From Tree
George J. Hart Jr a 13 year old of 11% Walker street court was severely injured Tuesday morning after climbing a tree hit a rusty nail in a board ripping his right leg to the bone. He received 11 stitches and was taken to Bath Memorial hospital after a playmate treated the wound. Dr. Joseph I. Smith attended him and he was inoculated against blood poisoning. Marc T. Greene a prominent newspaper correspondent visited Bath Saturday to cover the launching of the destroyer Dewey for The Christian Science Monitor and plans to spend days in Bath gathering historical material.
