Better roads plan promises smoother tours and campsites
The 196 expenditure for highway improvements totals over a million dollars with 6.751 miles of asphalt concrete and 14.520 miles of sand clay gravel and macadam plus about 145 miles of improved dirt roads. The upgrades will cut detours and ease motor touring as campsites near urban centers welcome visitors under weatherproof roofs. Motorists will also benefit from automated traffic signals guiding through cities instead of vague signals from officers.
