North Bath youth Ralph Wright has joined the Navy as a second class machinist and now guards a transport in New York harbor. The four masted schooner Harry G. Deering was launched at the G. G. Deering Co. yard in Bath with Mrs. Deering christening the ship and roses cast into the Kennebec. Eugene E. Annable 39 died suddenly Monday at his home 1238 High Street after a brief illness with pneumonia. A Bath native and son of Charles Annable, he worked in grocer stores and later with Hartleb and Chestra. He left a widow and daughter Florence, and was a member of T. W. Hyde Camp S. of W.
The Bob Ott Company, a leading touring musical comedy troupe, will perform at the Bath Opera House during the week of May 6 as part of its annual visit schedule.
