Trustees Meet as George Travis Joins Fire Company
All board members attended the Monday night session with limited business. George Travis was approved for Fire Company membership. John Kaiser was elected President Jus Shark Vice President and Wm Strauss Treasurer of the town Board of Health. Alberry Dickey received a liquor license from Feb 12 1907 to Feb 12 1908. The marshal was instructed to remove an outbuilding and request Water Works to repair private mains. Claims approved included American Furniture Co. for water mains work 7.88 and 648.00 for six months light, Wm Schott 310.00 for water main repairs, John H Borgstedt 52.08 salary. Board set next meeting for Monday night February 11.

Jake Telless traveled to Cincinnati after learning his brother in law Stephan Altmeyer was killed at a carpet mill. The funeral was at St. Joseph's cemetery Tuesday afternoon.
