Injured in Runaway Near Steamboat Landing

On a Sunday morning August H. Busch and wife were riding to church when their buggy horse suddenly frightened and threw them. Mrs. Busch suffered a broken collar bone and minor injuries while Mr. Busch escaped with slight bruises. Dr. Martin treated them and reported they are benefitting.

Death from lockjaw after hand injury in Indianapolis

John Fischer, 24, died after his jaw locked for 36 hours following a cut on his right hand from galvanized iron while siding A. J. Cook's marble shop. He fell unconscious and died Monday morning. Born near Hamburg, Indiana, he was buried after a St Louis church service with the Eagles lodge in attendance. relatives came from Aurora Cincinnati St Peters Indianapolis.
