Fund Drives For Camp Books In Big Horn County

Secretary Baker proposes a $1 million fund to supply books for soldiers in training across cantonments. Big Horn County is allotted $350 with a library committee and Woman's Club coordinating a countywide drive. Volunteers will raise funds by phone and in person, to purchase and circulate books, prioritizing novels and educational works for soldiers.

Class Party Tuesday Elects New Officers

The girls at the class met at the M. B. Pardo building Tuesday night for their annual officer election. Misa Irene Miler Nave Bteenberg hosted. after the vote, Ina Livermore was elected president for the coming year and the group outlined its plans over refreshments.

State Anti-Saloon chiefs begin county wide dry drive

Fred L. Crabbe secretary of the Wyoming Anti-Saloon League and Rev. W L Wade arrive in Basin to organize the county for a dry campaign. They outline a week long schedule visiting Basin churches and towns from Otto to Germania and Greybull on October 7. Local committee members include R B West Homer T Lamb Simon Skovgard and others.
