Higby Corn Demonstrated As Viable In Wyoming
The Omaha Bee notes Higby and Hig Corn grown north of Hasin Wyoming proves high quality corn is possible in the state. Higby has a large Hasin area farm and 100 acres of corn yielding about 40 to 60 bushels per acre, ripening before late August frosts. Lily Lewis and O P Hartranft led Basin Gardens with top prizes and several seconds at the fair.
