Wm Stein Otto, Billie Lewis Basin Gardens and many Basin Basin visitors attended the county fair Wednesday. Residents from Hyattsville Cody Greybull and Shell country mingled with exhibitors and judges. A large turnout toured exhibits while officials and ranchers judged horticulture and finished races.
In a packed basement library meeting on Wednesday, trustees formed a county trustees association to benefit county schools. Byron Sessions of Byron was elected president and Mrs Grace Schlaf of Burlington secretary Mia Kinder named executive secretary. Standardization of books and teacher qualifications discussed following an address by J Creager state commissioner of education.
