Afternoon events opened with A E Chamberlain's address followed by sports. Geo Pickett won the half mile dash and Iris Trumbull the ladies quarter mile. Sam Scoville captured the wild horse race while J B Kinzer won the night shirt race. Dwight Brown led the boys fifty yard, and Mayer, Smith, Baird, Winzenreid, Ellison placed in bucking trials. Birdell won the motorcycle race. Joe Kuehn won the auto race. Winzenreid led the fifty yard stake, Mayer won the barrel race, and the 1 mile relay went to Winzenreid.
