Court Commissioner Booth heard a mental condition case for B. T. Peyto at the town hall on Monday. Dr. C. Dana Carter testified Peyto suffers chronic mania and should be confined, while Peyto claimed he is sane now after earlier delusions. The jury ordered commitment for asylum observation and detention.

Taft vows continued anti-trust prosecutions in Idaho

President Taft, speaking in Pocatello Idaho, insisted the administration will persist with prosecutions of law violators until competition returns to business. He warned against aiding business via old prosecutions and urged unity for prosperity while defending thrift and industry against attacks as he warned of socialism if competition fails. He urged mutual respect and condemned muckraking while calling for proper motives in authorities.

George Hunt buys moving picture outfit in town

George Hunt has purchased the moving picture outfit from Mrs. Stanton and will run three shows a week. Tomorrow night he presents the Passion Play with 5 cent admission, rising to 10 cents after Saturday. First class music and a free dance after the show. Six thousand feet of films used Saturday night including the Passion Play and four other reels.

B C Hart has nearly secured funds to build an armory for Company D. Construction is expected soon, with the hall sized to host a large crowd, benefiting militia members and the town alike.
